Dialogue 1: See U th3re
Anna Bochkova & Naama Salzberg
Through the windows of the showcases the mostly architectural sculptures by Anna Bochkova (*1995) begin a close conversation with the painted works by Naama Salzberg (*1992), carrying them and carrying gestures. The dialogue between the two artists simultaneously is one between private and public space. Salzberg's prints of writing and hands
inscribe themselves into the surfaces and windows of Bochkova's architecture, which signifiy the junctions between city and home, between society and individual. The connection calls for a feeling of care, the utopian understanding of city and state as structures of care.
Anna Bochkova (*1995, lives and works in Hamburg and Vienna) works mainly sculpturally with a focus on space and politics in her art. After studying Bühnenbild at the MHAT in Moscow and the Akademie der bildenden Künste in Vienna, she is currently studying at the HFBK Hamburg.
Naama Salzberg (*1992, lives and works in Hamburg) is a story-teller, who develops narratives with lines, paint and words in her art. She graduated in 2020 from the photography department at HFBK Hamburg.
