October 19 — October 28, 2012

For this exhibition, shown in the fourth week of the “Rochade” project, the artists Gerrit Frohne-Brinkmann and Philip Pichler will “pull one over” on the Kunstverein, literally. They will outfit the top of the glass waiting pavilion with a sculpture – an object reminiscent of mundane relics found in a train station, inspiring us to reconsider public art projects.
The exhibition is part of the 2012 “Am Piano” series, which features young artists from Hamburg. Gerrit Frohne-Brinkmann (born 1990 in Friesoythe) & Philip Pichler (born 1985 in Oberhausen) both live and work in Hamburg.
