… on May 16, 2021, the Elbe flows into the Niger for a few hours for the second time since September 21, 2013 …
Guided walk with Rabi Diallo
Duration: About 1,5 – 3 hours

On May 16, 2021, the Elbe River will flow into the Niger River for a few hours for the second time since September 21, 2013. The Niger is one of the great rivers of western Africa. It traces a wide arc through the continent and passes through many countries. There, people have social, religious, philosophical and metaphysical relationships with the rivers that far exceed the power of imagination and perception here on the Elbe. Rabi Diallo comes from Niger, the country named after this river. She talks about the Niger River while looking at the Elbe.
